He doesn't dismiss your own thoughts or feelings about your sickness but instead is curious to learn from it to figure out how to arrive at a treatment plan. He knows about the newest advances in the field of integrative medicine and it's clear that he invests in finding simple things that can help you but may not be the newest shiniest drug from big pharma.
